Beck Center for the Arts’ Youth Theater is seeking resumes for a Stage Manager for SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE!, the final production of our 2016-2017 Youth Theater Season.

This is a paid position (flat fee).

Auditions begin in one month, with rehearsals commencing sometime in March.

The show is being directed by Patrick Ciamacco, Artistic Director of Blank CanvasTheatre.

Student Matinee: Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.


Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher nervous about his first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set.  Together, they show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such beloved songs as “Just A Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly” and “Conjunction Junction.” This stage adaptation of the Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series is fun for all ages!

Auditions are open to students ages 6 – 19.*
Auditions: Saturday, February 18 & Sunday, February 19, 2017
Callbacks: Monday, February 20, 2017
