NIA] Female, 10-13 yr old, Raven’s daughter. ANY ETHNICITY. Bold, confident, driven, but these qualities often get her in over her head. Once she sets her mind to something, she goes after it, even well past the moment she should have turned back. But her intentions are always good. (NIA means Purpose) She believes in helping people and doing what’s right, even if it gets her into trouble. She’s great at science but average in other subjects. Nia has just started middle school and is realizing that life as a tween is way more complicated than she could have imagined. Her life is made even crazier by the fact that she suddenly has the power to see visions of the future. Physical comedy is a must.
STRONG COMEDY. SERIES REGULAR
[BOOKER] 8-10, Raven’s son. ANY ETHNICITY. Sweet, a little naive. His gullibility makes him prone to get involved in things before he knows quite what he’s doing. Booker is a true innocent who is in no rush to grow up. He loves being a bit of a mama’s boy. The only way to get Booker to participate in something bad is to trick him (which luckily is pretty easy to do). Once he does realize what’s going on, he’s surprisingly adept at turning the tables and standing up for himself. Think a young Donald Glover (from the show ATLANTA)
