[NEohioPAL] Auditions for COMEDY OF ERRORS at Ohio Shakespeare Festival,

Ohio Shakespeare Festival (Akron, indoors at Greystone Hall) is holding auditions for several roles in our next production of Comedy of Errors, performing April 14-30.  See below for rehearsal dates and avaliable roles.  No additional AEA contracts avaliable for the productions.  All actors paid.

Dromio (Syracuse & Ephesus) double-- (Hispanic male, 20-40) 
This production does not break down the roles of Dromio of Ephesus and Syracuse in the traditional way. This actor will be the "double" for Ernie Gonzalez, who plays both our Dromios (Syracuse and Ephesus). Whenever the two characters share the same scene, the double will take over one of the roles. This is particularly relevant in the final scene of the show, but also includes several other scenes throughout.
 
 
Antipholus (Syracuse & Ephesus) double--(Caucasian male, 20-40) This production does not break down the roles of Dromio of Ephesus and Syracuse in the traditional way. This actor will be the "double" for Joe Pine, who plays both our Antipholi (Syracuse and Ephesus). Whenever the two characters share the same scene, the double will take over one of the roles. This is particularly relevant in the final scene of the show, but also includes several other scenes throughout.
 
Luciana--(any race/ethnicity, female, 18-40) Adriana's younger and sweeter sister, who Antipholus of Syracuse loves upon sight.
 
Luce--(any race/ethnicity, female, 16 or older)  A comedic servant from the house of Antipholus of Ephesus.  
Courtesan--(any race/ethnicity, female, 18-50)  A courtesan from Ephesus who demands payment in the form of a ring from the wrong Antipholus.  
 
First Merchant--(any race/ethnicity, male or female, 18 or older) Part of a trio (with Second Merchant and Angelo) who demand payment from the wrong Antipholus.
 
Ensemble--(any race/ethnicity, male or female, 16 or older)
