 Songs for a NewWorld "Songs for aNew World" is one of Jason Robert Brown's ("Last Five Years","13") first works. It is an abstract theatrical song cycle that isabout decisions people make. JRB said his show is “about one moment. It's abouthitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn aroundand go back." 

There are 4 parts in this show, 2 men and 2 women, with the possibility of adding one more female and male to make the cast 6people.

There will be nocallbacks for this show and no equity contracts at this time.Audition Materials:Please preparetwo songs that tell a story or that you are passionate about.  You will be asked to sing one song completelyand possibly the second song if needed. You may sing from the show. Please being accompaniment in the correct key.  No acapella sing will be allowed. Pleasebring a headshot and current resumeRehearsals Dates: April 2, 2017-April 27, 2016 – We will only meet threeto four times a week until techweek.  Exact dates will be given atauditions.  However, will most likely beSunday – Wed evenings or Mon-Thursdays evenings.
