*MAR 25 – 27*

*Romeo **& **Juliet:*

*Six Very Busy Days*

*Spring Break Performance Workshop*

*Open to students in grades 6-12*

At the audition, 20 to 30 participants will be selected for roles
in the 40-minute adaptation of *Romeo **& **Juliet: **Six Very Busy Days*



 Those who accept roles will be charged a $130 registration fee which
includes
a full week of intensive rehearsals under *Artistic Director Debbie Cluts *

two full performances with audience, cast party and script to keep



*AUDITIONS*

*Sunday Mar. 12  from 1 to 3 p.m. *

Actors should come prepared to perform a one-minute funny monologue

If possible, actors should bring a resume and current headshot.

*REHEARSALS*

*Mar. 25 — 31*

*PERFORMANCES*

*1 pm and 3 pm Saturday Apr. 1*

*Aurora Community Theatre 115 E. Pioneer Trail *



Everyone knows the story of Romeo and Juliet, but few realize that Romeo
and Juliet fall in love, marry, and die all within six days of meeting each
other!

*Romeo **& **Juliet: **Six Very Busy Days* riotously re-imagines the tale
of these iconic star-crossed lovers. This fast-paced and fun play is
farcically irreverent yet surprisingly faithful to Shakespeare's language
and storyline.
