*ABOUT THE INTENSIVE*

Ready to nail the dance call? Work with Broadway dancers, professional
choreographers and movement directors on mastering the most iconic
approaches to dance and movement. You'll learn numbers created by *Bob
Fosse*, *Jerome Robbins*, and *Michael Bennett*, discover their unique
language for dance, approach acting from physical world with "*Viewpoints*"
and "*Laban*," explore original Broadway choreography with a Broadway
dancer from a hit musical, and much more!

The weekend will culminate in a final showcase, presenting workshopped
choreography from the intensive and featured numbers from CMT's guest
faculty members.

*ABOUT THE ARTISTS*

*THAYNE JASERPSON: *Original B'way Casts: *Hamilton* (Samuel Seabury),
*Newsies* (Astaire nom), *Matilda*. National tours: *West Side Story*,
*Oz* (Scarecrow).
Regional: *Finding Neverland*, A.R.T. (original Porthos). Film/TV: “*High
School Musical*,” “*HSM 2*,” MTV’s “*American Mall*,” “*Smash*.” Thayne was
also a finalist on season four of So You Think You Can Dance.

*MARTÍN CÉSPEDES: *Performance credits include Broadway National Tours of *Man
of La Mancha* with Jack Jones and Ron Holgate;* The King and I *with Hayley
Mills, Marie Osmond, Maureen McGovern and Faith Prince; *South Pacific* with
Robert Goulet; *West Side Story* with Bebe Neuwirth, and the lavish PBS
production of Le Cid with Placido Domingo and the Washington National
Opera, broadcast live from Kennedy Center, and NBC's Dance Fever. Martín is
the resident choreographer at Cleveland Musical Theatre, having recently
choreographed *Aida* and *The Who's Tommy*.

This program gives students flexibility to work professionally and continue
to train in their area(s) of choice. Students have the option to attend the
Dance + Movement Intensive individually OR packaged in our Broadway
Intensive Series with the Audition Prep Intensive and Business of Theatre
Intensive.
