Verb Ballets' Carnival of the Animals
Verb Ballets announces a family matinee performance of The Carnival of the Animals on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 3:00pm. This ballet is perfect for younger children and will bring a whimsical menagerie of animals to life. Verb Ballets’ Associate Director and choreographer, Richard Dickinson, has taken the music of Camille Saint-Saens to tell the story through movements inspired by the animals. The animals learn to appreciate each other’s differences as the beautiful Swan teaches lessons in friendship and acceptance of others who might be different from ourselves. Also enjoy an interactive pre-show with the Verb Ballets dancers! This performance is sponsored by Lubrizol Foundation, Laub Foundation and RPM International.
