Don't miss this weekend's 45th Annual Lakeland Jazz Festival at Lakeland 
Community College, March 17-19.

The Saturday night headlining concert in dedication to the music of Dizzy 
Gillespie
features alumni from his band, as well as major international jazz 
artists: 
John Lee - bass; Claudio Roditi - trumpet; Cyrus Chestnut – piano; 
Eric Alexander - tenor sax; and Tommy Campbell - drums.

Our opening night on Friday features Ernie Krivda and his All Star 
Quartet.
On Sunday, the Big Band Matinee features two outstanding big bands: 
the Lakeland Civic Jazz Orchestra and the Kent State Jazz Orchestra.

And join us throughout the day on Friday and Saturday for performances
from over two dozen Ohio middle and high schools who will perform
and be adjudicated by the top jazz professors from northern Ohio colleges.
