AUDITIONS FOR CAMEO’S 2017 SUMMER MUSICAL, NEXT TO NORMAL

MEDINA, Ohio, March 17, 2017 – CAMEO proudly announces auditions for its
summer musical, Next to Normal.  This profound, relevant, electrifying
musical, winner of the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, will be presented in
the beautiful Medina Performing Arts Center July 14, 15, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29
at 8 PM and July 16, 23, & 30 at 4 PM.

Auditions for Next to Normal will take place Saturday, May 6 from 5-9 PM,
Sunday, May 7 from 7-9 PM, and Monday, May 8, from 7-10PM.  Auditions will
be held at the Medina Performing Arts Center, 851 Weymouth Rd, Medina Ohio.
Callbacks will be Thursday, May 11 from 7:30-10 PM.  Call-backs will also
be held at the Medina Performing Arts Center.

Prepare 16-32 bars of music in the style of the show that best displays
your vocal abilities as they relate to the role you are seeking. Prepare a
monologue of your choice, approximately 1-2 minutes in length.  Please
bring your resume, headshot, and music clearly marked, as an accompanist
will be provided. No recorded music will be permitted for accompaniment.

Rehearsals begin for Next to Normal on Tuesday, May 30.  All rehearsals
will take place at the Medina Performing Arts Center.  Rehearsals are
generally scheduled Sundays-Thursdays from 7-10PM.  Company members will be
called as needed, and therefore may not be required to attend every
rehearsal.  Please prepare and bring a complete list of conflicts ranging
from the start of the rehearsal process thru the close of the production at
the time of auditions.
