LCCC’s Civic Chorale Presents 38th Annual Spring Sing

Lorain County Community College's Civic Chorale will present the 38th Annual Spring Sing '17 on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Stocker Arts Center Hoke Theatre. The concert will be conducted by Nancy Davis, LCCC's Director of Choral Music Performance and feature the music of Gershwin and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

This ever-popular concert will feature Broadway favorites including June Is Bustin’ Out All Over, Oklahoma, Do-Re-Mi, I Whistle a Happy Tune and You’ll Never Walk Alone. Music with a swing jazz feel includes Gershwin’s ‘S Wonderful, Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off and They Can’t Take That Away From Me. The “Talent Showcase” segment will feature the piano artistry of David Blazer with jazz trio, Kathleen Kurucz performing a beautiful jazz flute solo with jazz trio and John Philipps performing a lively and fiery jazz piano suite.
