The theatrical scene in the Greater Cleveland area has lost a
multi-talented member, Terry Dunn. She was born in Cleveland and most of
her young adult life was spent in the area and always involved theatre,
onstage and offstage, a company member of every musical comedy known to
man, from east side to west side over several decades.

Musicarnival in the early 70's, many productions at Lakewood Little Theatre
sequeing to Beck Center (a memorable performance in "Camelot" starring with
Bill Flynn and Terry''s own dog, name forgotten at the moment), to Berea
Summer Theatre since the 60's joining Kent and Sue Overton, Don DiSantis,
Bernie Canepari, Ron Newell, Bill Allman, etc. etc. in such shows as
"Kismet", "Sound of Music", "My Fair Lady" another "Camelot" "The Music
Man" 2 different productions of "Fiddler on the Roof" , "Evita" "Bye Bye
Birdie" Just To Name a Few!!

The last few years she worked at Greenbrier Theatre sequeing to Cassidy
Theatre, Inc. again lending her talents onstage and off.

Here are two little known facts about Terry Dunn. She was a lifelong member
and supporter of leading animal rescue groups, and loved all dogs. When
Bill Allman passed away she adopted his dog. She was a magnificent
costumer. Terry Dunn was the best in the business. It did not matter what
the costume needed to be or how many performers were in th e particular
show, each and every costume was handcrafted, often without patterns, to
each individual. She worked within the Greater Cleveland area primarily but
several out of town theatres also benefited from Terry's expertise.

She worked hand in glove with Sue Overton, in set design and decoration and
properties in many productions at Greenbrier/Cassidy Theatre. Terry was a
member of the Greenbrier Theatre Guild, and Berea Summer Theatre Theatre
Guild, supporting fund raisers that produced scholarships for graduates of
both Youth Theatre programs.
