Wednesday, May 31 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Thursday, June 1 from 5 to 9 p.m.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Weathervane’s Emerging Artist Series productions are specifically selected to offer opportunities to actors new to the stage.  Disney’s The Little Mermaid is one of three Emerging Artist Series productions in our season.  These productions also offer mentor roles for actors of any age with extensive stage experience.
Mentor roles are an essential component of the Emerging Artist Series.  These mentor roles bring actors with performance experience and theatrical training into the production as role models for professionalism in theatre.  Actors cast in a mentor role are expected to support the learning process of those new to the theatre and demonstrate exemplary theatrical etiquette in rehearsals and during the run of the show.

Up to three mentor roles may be offered in this production.  All non-mentor roles will be restricted to actors age 10 - 22.  The roles of Ariel and Prince Eric are not available as mentor roles.

Please bring a resume and headshot or recent photo if possible, as well as any conflicts between June 5th and August 13.

Prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song similar in style to Disney's The Little Mermaid. Piano accompaniment will be provided.

Plan to be at the Playhouse for about an hour. Auditions will include individual singing auditions at the beginning and short group dance calls. Please bring proper footwear.
