CANTON PALACE THEATRE ANNOUNCES 2017 SUMMER KIDS MOVIE SERIES

In its 15th year this movie series is a summer tradition in Stark County



Canton, Ohio, April 4, 2017--- The Canton Palace Theatre and the Canton Professional Educators' Association (CPEA) presents the eight-week movie series Summer Kids Movies.   The movies will begin at 1pm, with doors opening at 12:30pm.  Admission is $1.00 and group reservations are available by calling 330-454-8172 up until 4pm on the Friday before the movie showing. All tickets are sold at the door the day of the movie showing.

The 2017 schedule of films include:

June 26, 2017                    Storks
July 3, 2017                       Kung Fu Panda 3
July 10, 2017                     Trolls
July 24, 2017                     Rise of the Guardians
July 31, 2017                     Wizard of Oz
August 7, 2017                 Sing
August 14, 2017               Lego Batman




The Summer Kids Movie Series, now in its 15th year brings children and adults from all parts of our community, including many summer camps and child care facilities.  The concession stand is always open, serving movie theatre favorites including popcorn, soft drinks, water and candy.



"With the annual CPEA sponsorship, we are happy to be able to continue to provide this annual movie tradition.  Many, many children watch their first ever movie in a theater, during the Summer Kids Movie Series.  The historic atmosphere, the stars and the clouds in the sky provide the complete experience," said Georgia Paxos, Executive Director of the Canton Palace Theatre.
