Mercury Theatre Company returns to Notre Dame College for its nineteenth season this summer, with a trio of award-winning productions showcasing the very best in musical theatre. Continuing a tradition of family-friendly musicals and a vision to energize classic works, embrace new storytelling concepts and empower the next generation of theatre artists, this “Best Of Times Is Now” season includes: Rogers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, La Cage Aux Folles, andHairspray.

Our 2017 season will be performed in the spacious Regina Hall at Notre Dame College, 1857 South Green Road, South Euclid, OH, 44121. With a wide stage and an abundance of easily accessible seating, it is the perfect venue to relax and enjoy a Dream-Filled Cleveland summer evening. Located just two minutes from Legacy Village, your family-night/girls- night-out/group night/romantic evening out is within reach! Not to mention, Regina Hall is air-conditioned, parking is free and secure, and all tickets are $20 and under and an entire summer of entertainment is yours for under $50.

Each show at Mercury is handpicked to showcase the best of Broadway, including:

• Carousel, June 9-24. Named the greatest musical of the 20th Century by Time Magazine, Carousel is Rodgers and Hammerstein at their finest, weaving a beautiful tale of love, loss and redemption with a stellar song-list, including “If I Loved You” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

• La Cage Aux Folles, July 7-22. Precursor to the well-known film The Birdcage, this hilarious Jerry Herman tuner about being your truest self remains one of the most revived, all time biggest hits of Broadway. Starring Brian Marshall and Pierre- Jacques Brault.

• Hairspray, August 4-19. You can’t stop the beat with this fast-paced and fabulous musical set in 1960’s Baltimore, in an era of social progress that empowers average teen Tracy Turnblad to explore new heights of social justice, teen romance and her hair!
