Jorge Santana, guitarist and brother of musician Carlos Santana will appear as guest artist in performance with the student musicians of the Roberto Ocasio Latin Jazz Camp. Santana, a noted musician has performed and recorded with his brother and the group Malo, which had the top twenty hit, "Suavecito." 

>> The camp is under the direction of Artist-in-Residence, Bobby Sanabria, 7-time Grammy nominee and world-renowned jazz drummer/percussionist, composer, music educator, bandleader and producer. The camp emphasizes the Latin jazz continuum, particularly la clave, master classes, composing/arranging, improvisation, rehearsal and performance techniques, and cultural history’s relationship to American popular music. Music students of all instruments, in grades 8 - 12, participate in this one-of-a-kind resident camp.
