GREAT NEWS! - 			Do you want to spend half a day, every day (five days a week)  for two years - studying theatre - during school hours?  

YOU CAN STILL JOIN:  		There are still 4 slots open at the Academy for the Performing Arts for any student who will be a Junior in the fall of 2017.  
						Sorry, no first year Senior slots are available.

ELIGIBLE SCHOOLS: 		If you attend any of the following schools, you are eligible to attend free of charge. 
						West Geauga, Aurora, Solon, Chagrin Falls, Orange, Beachwood, Mayfield
						South Euclid/Lyndhurst, Richmond Heights, Willoughby/Eastlake.

WHAT IS THE ACADEMY?  	The Academy for the Performing Arts is a college preparatory program of Excel Technical Education 
						Career Consortium, currently in it’s tenth season,  serving the ten school districts in the Mayfield Consortium.  All classes and performances
						take place at Chagrin Falls Performing Arts Center. To learn all about the Program, the instructors, the curriculum,

						Career Tecc  and is hosted by Chagrin Falls High School.

2017-18 SEASON			October 27	RAGTIME, The Musical
						Dec 8		STEEL MAGNOLIAS
						Dec 15		The Senior IMPROV SHOW
						Feb 9		DNA 
						Feb 15		Radium Girls, Chamber Music and OH Freedom (One Act Festival)
							March 2		    William Shakespeare’s HAMLET
							May 4		    PETER AND THE STARCATCHER
											(plays subject to change)

							All Performances are completely rehearsed and staged.  

CURRICULUM`				The Academy offers two tracks;  	An artistic track - Acting, Improvisation, Voice, Movement, Stage Combat, Shakespeare & Audition
														A Technical Track - Technical Theatre, Stage Management, Design, Construction
