YOUTH CLASSES
Youth class sessions begin June 19th, and the final class session ends
August 5th. See individual class descriptions for dates and times.

STARDUST!
4-7 year olds Instructor: Alyssa Herbell
Mondays 10:00 a.m.- 10:45 a.m.
Here’s a fun way for your youngest students to get their start in theatre!
This non-stressful approach to basic acting, singing, and movement will
teach your littlest stars to twinkle! Students will work on imagination,
memorization, and team work, as well as the technical basics of putting on
a show. The final day of class includes a short free performance for family
and friends.

TWO WEEK THEATER CAMPS!
*Students will be divided into groups based on age
​
SESSION A: Music and Acting! 8-18 year olds* Instructors: Rusu, Ivancic
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. June 20th—29th (Two Week
Session)
This active and exciting class focuses on singing and acting. The class
provides a safe environment for students to bring music to life. Students
will learn healthy vocal techniques, use acting skills to create characters
while singing, and develop audition skills. This class will benefit
students of all abilities and experience levels.

SESSION B: Acting and Dance! 8-18 year olds* Instructors: Tabar, Ivancic
Monday July 3, Thursday July 6, Tuesday July 11, Thursday July 13. 10:00
a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
*Dates due to 4th of July Holiday
In this awesome acting and dance class, students will be instructed in
improvisation, character work, and basic acting techniques. Students will
also learn basic dance techniques, terminology and do choreography to
Broadway hits! The class is designed to benefit students of all abilities
and experience levels (basic reading skills are a HUGE plus). Get ready to
get on your feet!

SESSION C. Music and Dance 8– 18 year olds* Instructors: Rusu, Tabar
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. July 18th—27th (Two Week
Session)
This active and exciting class focuses on singing and dancing. This is the
perfect class for kids who love musical theater. Students will work
together to sing and dance Broadway favorites in a safe and creative
environment. Students will learn basic vocal and dance terminology, and
develop audition skills. This class will benefit students of all abilities
and experience levels.

SESSION D. Musical Theater Showcase! 8-18 year olds* Instructors: Rusu,
Tabar
Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. August 1st-5th with performance
on August 5th **Students must be enrolled in at least one other session to
take Session D
Students will meet for one week to create a showcase using materials from
what they have learned in sessions A-C. Students will work in the areas of
music, acting, and dance to create a free performance for family and
friends which will be performed Saturday August 5th at 12:00 p.m.

* NOTE ON OUR NEW SUMMER SESSIONS! We have come up with the perfect balance
for those who want a little OR a lot of theatre Instruction for the Summer.
This is an active and exciting selection of classes for students of all
experience levels to study acting, singing, and/or dance. Students will
develop audition skills, focus on music and/or dance, learn about theatre
history, creating character, and build their confidence. Sessions can be
taken individually or throughout the entire summer, for a more traditional
camp program. *Bonus Musical Theatre Showcase week (Session D) includes a
free, final performance on Saturday, August 5th at 12:00 on the Cassidy
mainstage.
*Please register early. Sessions are subject to cancellation, pending
enrollment numbers.
