[NEohioPAL] AUDITIONS for Coach House Theatre 90th Birthday Season!

Coach House Theatre is seeking actors, stage managers, designers and run
crews for 2017-2018 season.

Auditions for actors start at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8th

6 p.m. Sunday, July 9th, by appointment only.


Coach House Theatre is located behind the Akron Woman’s City Club at 732 W.
Exchange Street in Akron.



Preparation:

Please prepare two contrasting monologues, or one monologue and 16 bars of
one musical comedy song, total audition no more than three minutes in
length. In lieu of monologue you may read a scene from one of the shows in
the season. Accompanist will be provided. Recorded accompaniment (MP3 or
CD) is ok. NO A CAPELLA auditions will be considered.

Callbacks will be held on Saturday, July 15th at 11am.

Auditions by pre-recorded video (youtube, etc…) will also be considered.

“Christmas In Akron”

NEEDED: 4-5 Men and 3-4 Women. Characters ages range from 20s-60s.

(A Hitchcock-flavored thriller adapted by an acclaimed author, title TBA on
July 1st.)

Needed: 2 Men and 2 Women. Character ages range from 20s-50s

Rehearsals Begin: Late Dec.

March 1,2, 3, 8, 9, 10 7:30pm

March 4, 11 230pm



SPRING PRODUCTION

(An Outrageous, verbally dexterous, ‘go-for-baroque’ farce...very
‘Stoppardian’...think wigs and wordplay! Title and author TBA July 1st.)

6 roles traditionally played by men...director is committed to mixing that
up, bigtime!  Character ages range from late teens to 70s.

Rehearsals Begin Late February

Performances:

April 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 at 7:30

April 15, 22, 29 at 2:30



EARLY SUMMER SEASON CLOSER!

(A Big, Hot, epic American play - TBA July 1st)

Very large cast (for a tiny theatre)

Men and Women! Characters range in age from late teens to 70s.

production teams are volunteers. We are committed to diversity in
