*Cyrus Templeton III*: Ethan's best friend and college roommate.
European-American attorney in his thirties.





*Laura Larkin*: European-American newspaper reporter in the late thirties.





*H. Henderson Hill*: African-American political consultant in his late
forties/ early fifties.





*Jeremiah Jefferson Stiles*: Ethan's high school classmate and teammate in
his thirties.





*Tio Villanueva*: Puerto Rican campaign worker in his early twenties.





*Malik Washington*: African-American campaign worker in his early twenties.
