KARAMU SUMMER ARTS CONTINUES!

Summer Arts at Karamu
Running NOW through August 4

Karamu House continues to strengthen its commitment to cultivating community engagement by hosting a diverse arts intensive this summer.  Karamu House is now enrolling for the second session of Summer Arts at Karamu, a performance-based, arts intensive that runs from July 5 through August 4, 2017.  Students will receive focused instruction in dance, drama, vocal music, creative writing and visual arts led by professional artists. Classes will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (with breakfast being served at 8:30 am).

All classes will be held at Karamu House located at 2355 East 89th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.

The programming is available for children in grades 3 through 12 and each session will culminate with a youth production. Tuition for students will cover weekly sessions, as well as healthy breakfast, lunch and snack.  Financial assistance is available for families.  Scholarships may be available based on need and availability of funds.
