About the Show:
Forty-seven years after WAIT UNTIL DARK premiered on Broadway, Jeffrey Hatcher has adapted Frederick Knott's 1966 original, giving it a new setting. In 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled by a trio of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller's chilling conclusion.

Sgt. Carlino - 30-50's Mike's partner. Not as likeable as Mike. Older than Mike, and out of shape. A follower, not a leader. Bronx accent a plus.

Suzy Hendrix -25-35, Recently blinded in a car accident and still adjusting to her blindness. Likeable with a good sense of humor and a strong need for independence, but relies heavily on Sam, her husband. She is a perfectionist. A stature that makes her physically vulnerable.

Gloria - 10-14, Upstairs neighbor to Suzy and Sam. Sam has been paying her to help Suzy with chores and shopping. Very independent and doesn't like to be told what to do. Acts out when upset.
