ABOUT THE PLAY
Based on the true story of two teenage boys from Cleveland, who during the great depression of the 1930s, create America’s first superhero – Superman.  The play chronicles the lives of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster through high school, including their love of science fiction, and their crushes on girls they were too timid to talk to.  It details the many experiences and influences that helped develop their creation.  Set to the music of the 1930s, it’s a story of struggle and hope, where two awkward boys finally discover truth, justice and the American Way!
