Cleveland Ballet Offering Subscriber Packages after 17 Year Hiatus

As the new position of resident ballet company of Playhouse Square, Cleveland Ballet's 2017-2018 season will present 3 shows.  Staging by former Russian ballerina Aygul Abougalieva, 'Les Sylphides' will open the season on October 14th with two performances at the Ohio Theatre.  Artistic Director, Gladisa Guadalupe will choreograph two new works, 'Concerto' with music composed by J.S. Bach and 'A Collage of Sinatra Songs' from the most popular and influential singer of the 20th century, Frank Sinatra.

The 2017-year will be wrapped up in a nice present with 3 performances of the holiday favorite 'The Nutcracker Suite' in the Hanna Theatre.  Back by popular demand, 'The Nutcracker Tea' will be held after the matinee show on Sunday December 17th.
Tony Award recipient and world re-known choreographer Margo Sappington, has been commissioned to create 'Alice in Wonderland' with 2 performances on May 11th at the Ohio Theatre.

Cleveland Ballet is eager to present an exciting and varied season with both classical and contemporary works. All performances will have live accompaniment.
For the first time in 17 years, Cleveland Ballet will be offering subscriptions.  Subscribers will receive a 10% discount on the first performance.  Two packages are available for subscribers with 4 different price levels. Subscribers have the option to either be a matinee subscriber for the 1pm curtain or an evening subscriber for the 7pm curtain.  Price levels are: $175 for Orchestra A, $155 for Orchestra B and Boxes, $140 for Orchestra C and Mezzanine, $75 for Orchestra D and Balcony (no discounts on the first show).  After receiving your tickets, you may call the number provided to make any exchanges.
Sunday Nutcracker performance is NOT part of the subscription, but you can exchange into it.

For single ticket purchases or subscriber exchanges you will need to call Playhouse Square.  However, patrons/subscribers should call 216-241-6000 while Cleveland Ballet subscribers should call 216-640-8799 or email Marilyn.Niksa at playhousesquare.org<mailto:Marilyn.Niksa at playhousesquare.org>.

Basic Subscriber Policies are as follows:

  *   All exchanges must be made at least 72 hours prior to the originally scheduled performance
  *   Tickets may only be exchanged for another performance of the same production
  *   Tickets from past/missed performances dates may not be exchanged
  *   Exchanges are subject to seating availability
  *   All sales are final! There are no refunds.  Ballets, directors, dancers and dates are subject to change
  *   If you cannot use your tickets, we can issue you a tax credit.  You must notify us of your tickets donation 48 hours prior to your performance
