larger than life personality.

Rehearsals: Regular Rehearsals will start October 7th.
Rehearsals will be held based on actor availability. 4-5 days a week
expected. Sunday-Thursday 7-10, Saturdays and Sundays 1-5. Rehearsal
Schedule will be posted by August 20th.
No conflicts will be accepted for any performance dates or during tech week.
CVLT does not offer union contracts or cast understudies and all performers
are volunteers.

Show Information:
Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's modern classic, Disney's Beauty
and the Beast, an international sensation that has played to over 35
million people worldwide in 13 countries. Based on the Academy
Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the
wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along
with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production
ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards,
including Best Musical.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and
the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an
enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will
end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running
out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will
be doomed for all eternity.

This "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular costume and set
opportunities or, even more simply staged, Disney's Beauty and the Beast
offers a great opportunity to bring your entire community together for
family theatre at its best.
