  OPERA WESTERN RESERVE SEEKING SINGERS
  
 OWR will be holding additional auditions for Porgy & Bess, which will be 
presented in a semi staged concert at Stambaugh Auditorium on Friday, March 
9th 2018 at 7:30 p.m. The following roles are still open: Mariah 
(contralto) Sportin' Life (tenor) Nelson/Chorus soloist (tenor) Jim/Chorus 
soloist (baritone) Robins (tenor/actor) Peter (tenor/actor) Undertaker 
(actor)
  
 By contractual agreement the above roles must be cast with African 
American performers. 
  
 Auditions will be held the evening of Monday, September 11th at Stambaugh 
Auditorium. An accompanist will be provided. To schedule an appointment or

 Additionally, we will be accepting volunteer chorus members to participate 
in our production of Lucia di Lammermoor which will take place on Friday, 
November 10th. The first meeting of chorus members will be on Tuesday, 
September 11th in the ballroom of Stambaugh Auditorium. Please contact the
