[NEohioPAL] Audition: Apollo's Fire announces auditions for treble/soprano voices ages 10-17 for Christmas show!

*Apollo's Fire,* Cleveland's internationally renowned Baroque Orchestra
announces auditions for soprano/treble singers ages 10-17 (Musettes), for
brand-new show, *"Christmas on Sugarloaf Mountain, an Irish-Appalachian
Journey"*

"Apollo's Musettes" is a select group of young singers with solid vocal and
musical backgrounds who have the unique opportunity to learn about early
music and high-level performance under the baton of Jeannette Sorrell.

Amanda Powell (voice faculty, Cleveland State University and frequent
soloist with Apollo's Fire) will direct the Musettes for this show, with
Artistic Director Jeannette Sorrell conducting the performances. (Dec. 2,3,
8-10)

*Auditions:* will be held on
Sunday, September 24 from 2-4pm &
Monday, October 2 from 6-7:30pm
at Disciples Christian Church, 3663 Mayfield Road, Cleveland Heights.

*Audition requirements*: What Child is This (Eminor-- a copy of this piece
will be emailed once audition is confirmed) and another carol or hymn of
your choice.

Musette rehearsals (three Monday evenings in November) are located in
Cleveland Heights with dress rehearsals and performances around the greater
Cleveland area. (evenings only). Musettes will also be a part of a
recording session for an album of the show.
