Stocker Arts Center Show Affected by Tour Cancellation of “Tuesdays with Morrie” Show

Stocker Arts Center of Lorain County Community College regrets to announce that due to circumstances beyond its control the production company has canceled the four-month tour of  “Tuesdays With Morrie” starring Jamie Farr – including the October 9 performance scheduled for the Stocker stage.
According to the Producer of the show, LPP Theatricals, the Department of Homeland Security has not approved the necessary work visas for the director and the actor that plays opposite Mr. Farr, who are both from Canada, in time for the production to proceed with its tour.
“We are disappointed by this turn of events and apologize for any inconvenience it will cause our patrons,” said Janet Herman Barlow, Stocker Arts Center director.
In its place, on Tuesday, October 17th at 7:30pm, Stocker Arts Center is excited to announce a return engagement by Artrageous! Art, music, theatre, singing, dancing, audience interaction – all on one stage. Imagine witnessing an artist creating a masterpiece before your eyes in mere moments.
With a palette that also mixes captivating vocals, intricate choreography, exciting music and audience interaction - Artrageous takes you on a unique visual journey packed with wild inspiration, creativity and fun!  The Artrageous troupe of artists, musicians, singers and dancers pay tribute to a variety of art forms, pop icons and musical genres throughout the evening, culminating in a gallery of fabulous paintings that are created right before your very eyes.  The result? A one-of-a-kind crossover experience!  The signature of the Artrageous troupe is interaction and engagement, so be prepared to be a part of the show!
Tickets for “Tuesdays With Morrie” may be returned for a refund or exchanged for Artrageous! or another show of equal value.  Please call the Stocker Arts Center box office between 12-6 p.m., Monday through Friday, at (440) 366-4040 for ticket exchange or refund information.
