Baldwin Wallace Job Search: Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) – Theatre –
Lighting Design

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University invites
applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor faculty
position in Lighting, beginning August 2018. The successful candidate will
teach courses in the theatre program; design for our mainstage season;
teach additional courses in area of expertise (i.e., sound, theatre
technology, projections, Vectorworks, etc.); advise students. Service on
department and university-wide committees is expected.

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University offers a
BFA in Acting with an emphasis in classical drama, and a BA in Theatre
(with four tracks: Acting/Directing, Stage Management, Dance, and
Tech/Design). The department works closely with the Music Theatre and Opera
programs, and we have a partnership with Great Lakes Theater. The
University seeks to attract a culturally and academically diverse faculty
of the highest caliber. Qualifications: MFA in Lighting Design;
professional design experience.

Founded in 1845, Baldwin Wallace University is an independent,
coeducational comprehensive institution in the liberal arts tradition and
is located 15 miles southwest of downtown Cleveland and just minutes from
Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport. Baldwin Wallace enrolls
approximately 3,000 full-time undergraduate day students, 250 part-time
students in evening and weekend programs, and 900 graduate students. The
