[NEohioPAL] Hiring Diverse Actors (All Races, Genders & Ages) for Civil Rights Testing in Cleveland

The Center for Civil Rights is hiring actors of all races, genders and ages in the Cleveland area to help us investigate discrimination. We conduct civil rights testing across the country. For example, if we believe that an apartment complex is discriminating on the basis of race, we’ll hire a white actor and an actor of color to both go to the complex “undercover," and inquire about renting. If we find that there is a pattern and practice of discrimination, we may file a complaint.

We pay actors $125 for a typical assignment. We’ll be conducting a training in Cleveland on Tuesday, October 10th, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. We’ll be conducting an identical training the next evening, on Wednesday, October 11th, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Participants can choose whichever date they prefer. Participants will be paid $75 for completing the training.
