Classic tale of true holiday spirit and redemption is our gift to you.

Show times are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. ― except for Saturday, December 23, which is at 2:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. There is no show on Thanksgiving (November 23). The daytime performances on November 21 and 29 as well as December 5 and 13 are currently sold out. Tickets are $20 for Adults and $16 for Children and can be ordered by calling the box office at 330-836-2626 or going to www.weathervaneplayhouse.com<http://www.weathervaneplayhouse.com>. This production is sponsored by a generous donation from The Weathervane Playhouse Volunteer Guild.
Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge wants nothing to do with Christmas tidings and charitable giving - but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his own past, present, and future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas!" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.
Broadway heavy-hitters Alan Menken (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once on This Island) breathe fantastic new life into this classic holiday favorite.
A Christmas Carol: The Musical is this season's second production in Weathervane's Emerging Artist Series featuring a multi-generational cast of performers.
Chief Executive/Artistic Director, Melanie YC Pepe says of the show: "Whether we would like to admit it or not, there's a little Scrooge in all of us. It's easy to lose sight of the important things in life: time with those we love, gratitude for our blessings, and compassion for those in need. The magic of A Christmas Carol is in reminding us of these things, and helping us to remember to take care of ourselves and each other. In sharing this show, I hope that we can all honor Christmas in our hearts, and try to keep it all year."
