LAKE ERIE CRUSHERS PROFESSIONAL DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS - FEBRUARY 24TH SATURDAY AT 2:30 P.M. in Avon, Ohio


This will be the first ever official professional dance team of the Lake Erie Crushers Professional Baseball Team. We are looking for dancers, MALE & FEMALE ADULTS ages 18 to 35 who have experience in one or all of the following dance styles, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Acro Dance, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Pom Dance & Tumbling. Dancers may be 17 years old if they are graduating from high school early. This will be a paid contract position for 8 games  from May to end of August 2018.  Rehearsals will be in the evening and game schedule will be distributed after audition. 


Dancers must bring resume, headshot & letter of recommendation to the audition.  Head shots do not have to be professional head shots as we will be shooting professional dance team photos once the season begins. Schedule is as follows. No prepared solos will be needed by dancers. All dancers will be learning a short piece of choreography in which they will perform for the audition portion. Dancers will have an opportunity during this time to show any tumbling or tricks they can perform. 


2:30 to 3:45 p.m. - check in, warm up/stretch  & choreography workshop
3:45 p.m. - Dancers will perform the choreography in groups of 2 and will be able to leave after they perform the choreography.  Each dancer will be given a number upon arrival & check in and that is the number in which they will audition after the workshop. Estimated end time for audition is approximately 5:00 p.m., but may run over depending upon participants.


Audition dress code is open.   Dancers must call 440-503-2974 to pre-register. There is a $20 registration fee for the workshop, but the audition portion is free.
