Staff Assistant

Stocker Arts Center

Part-time
Reporting to the Director of the Stocker Arts Center, the Staff Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to: performing multiple office tasks including receptionist duties; filing; data entry; and using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook to produce, organize and disseminate Stocker event information and records.  In addition, the incumbent will be expected to work some morning, evening and weekend events in a supervisory capacity as needed.

Required Qualifications:  High school graduate (or equivalent); knowledge and experience in standard office equipment; experienced in word processing, spreadsheets and database management using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook; strong organizational skills; experience with social media platforms; proven customer services skills and experience; ability to work effectively in a team environment; ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule an average of 25 hours per week, which may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree; knowledge of Resource 25 scheduling software; usher/theatre/house manager experience; and knowledge and interest in the visual and performing arts.


Minimum Hourly Rate:  $9.22
