[NEohioPAL] Comedy Night + Q&A on working in TV at Lake Erie College March 9

The Department of Theatre presents an evening with primetime television actor and co-creator of “Celebrity Deathmatch” Sean Lynch as well as “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) contributing writer Mark Riccadonna.

LEC will welcome the two comedians back on Friday, March, 9, 2018 at 7 p.m. in C.K. Rickel Theater in Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts. This free event is open to the public.

After their sets, Lynch and Riccadonna will answer questions about their experiences working in television, sharing their expertise in the process of creating and pitching successful shows.

Touring comedy headliner and actor Sean Lynch has written for MTV, IFC, Spike TV and The Food Network. He is known for playing the role of Max on AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” Recently, he was a featured panelist on the Amazon Studios show “Comics Watching Comics.”

Over his career, Lynch has produced four screenplays, including “Greenpoint Tavern” (2012), “Tilting at Windmills” (2012), “Game Night” (2013), and “Comic Strip Lives” (2015). He won Best Director for “Game Night” at the 2013 International Film Festival Manhattan. Lynch has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Contest Searchlight,” MTV’s “Spring Break, Showtime’s “Comedy Shorts,” and HBO’s “Flashback.” The talented voice actor is known for his work in video games “The Walking Dead” and the Grand Theft Auto series in addition to commercials for major brands such as Pizza Hut and Dunkin Donuts.

For his storytelling, Mark Riccadonna has landed shows on FOX, MTV, SPIKE TV, The CW, NBC and The Food Network. The charismatic Ohio native graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and most recently played a lead role in the 2018 feature film “Days of Power.” He tours widely, having performed standup comedy for U.S. and U.N. troops on six continents. Now, Riccadonna contributes to SNL’s long running “Weekend Update” sketch.
