[NEohioPAL] 3/25 FREE Performance Workshop in Gordon Square

Join us this Sunday, March 25th from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Gordon Square Art Space (1386 W. 65th St.) for a free performance workshop led by Gordon Square Artist-in-Residence Daniel McNamara.

Daniel will lead participants through exercises and discussion that explores the use of masks and movement to evoke meaning and emotion in a performance. Dig into a variety of translations of The Odyssey, and learn more about the physicality of masked performance from a local master.

ABOUT THE RESIDENCY


During his time as Gordon Square’s first performing artist-in-residence, Daniel has brought masked characters of The Odyssey out into the world as an act of experimental and durational performance. The work of his residency contributes to the upcoming Test Flight production Odysseus Unraveled, running April 19-21 at Cleveland Public Theatre.
