[NEohioPAL] [CMT] WARDROBE COORDINATOR NEEDED - "Jane Eyre" @ Cleveland Musical Theatre

[CMT Public Relations]

Cleveland Musical Theatre - a 501(c)(3) Equity Musical Theatre company - is
currently seeking a Wardrobe Coordinator for its upcoming production of the
musical "Jane Eyre." This position will work in tandem with our NYC-based
costume designer to ensure the smooth execution of the build/pull of the
production.

Anticipated start date would be June 1. Production begins rehearsals on
August 14. Opening Night is August 31. Production closes September 9. All
rehearsals and productions happen at Cuyahoga Community College - Eastern
Campus.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*:

1) Oversee the costume materials/labor budgets;

2) Calculate labor and rental costs for local pulling and building;

3) Coordinate measurements of local Cleveland actors;

4) Oversee and assist with the local build, pull and alteration of costume
elements

5) Assist the designer in coordinating with national shops to ensure that
outsourced builds remain on schedule/budget.

*QUALIFICATIONS*:

Ideal candidate has a strong background as a theatrical costume
designer/artisan;

Experience with overseeing budgets and coordinating labor;

Self-starter who is able to make confident choices based on aesthetic notes
from a designer.

This is a *paid position* that will need to have incremental availability
in June/July for pulling/coordination, and more full availability from Aug
6-Sept 11 to facilitate rehearsals/tech/production.
