*Audition Information:*

*Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to audition start time. Be
prepared to stay for the duration of each audition session**. *Registration
is also available at SignUpGenius.

Those auditioning should be prepared to *cold read* from the script and
prepare a *32 bar cut* from the *swing era* with *sheet music in your vocal
key*.  Auditions will not be permitted a cappella or with electronic
accompaniment. *Dress for movement** and bring a head shot or current
photo.*

*Rehearsals begin:*      *July 28, 2018*.

*Performance Dates:**  August 23, 24, 25, 2018.   *Sandusky State Theatre

                                                        * GHOSTLIGHT*

*All the drama of opening night unfolds, as the State Theatre, Sandusky,
Ohio, opens Oct. 21, 1928. This “Million Dollar Theatre” is the first in
the area to feature Vaudeville “headliners”.*

*Conflicts of sibling rivalry, jealous lovers, and ships colliding, are led
by a ghost with a tragic past. Bubbling with the energy of the prohibition
era, this story is in full swing with history.*

*Cast*:  *5* *WOMEN:*  Sadie; 20-35; This is her story. She struggles with
loss and identity. Sylvia; 25-45; Sadie’s sister; Vaudeville headliner;
Sophie; 45-60; Their mother: Nancy and Laverne Ross; 20-45; Headliners, Tap
Dancing Duo.

          *7  MEN*:        Ben; 25-40; Local fisherman; Phillip 25-40
Shipping magnate: Oscar; 25-40; steamboat captain; Leon; 40-60; Theatre
Stage Manager:  Julius 25-45 Headliner Magician.

         ENSEMBLE: (Directors Discretion) Vaudeville performers,
townspeople, seamen.
