LCCC Theatre Program Presents “Dead Man’s Cell Phone”

Lorain County Community College’s theatre program presents “Dead Man's Cell Phone” at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, April 26-28, in Stocker Arts Center's Cirigliano Studio Theatre.

“Dead Man’s Cell Phone” is a wildly imaginative comedy by MacArthur “Genius” Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl. A work about how we memorialize the dead – and how that remembering changes us – it is the odyssey of a woman forced to confront her own assumptions about morality, redemption and the need to connect in a technologically obsessed world. Ruhl is the 2003 recipient of the Whiting Award for Drama. This play contains adult language and subject matter that is not suitable for young children.

Tickets are $9 for adults, $8 for LCCC students, staff and seniors 65 and up, and $7 a person for groups of 15 or more. To purchase tickets, call the box office at (440) 366-4040 or visit www.stockerartscenter.com. The Stocker Box Office is open from noon to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 90 minutes before ticketed events (60 minutes before Student Matinee events).
