2018-2019 CCYT Competition Team

Huron, Ohio – Caryl Crane Youth Theatre is holding open auditions for actors, singers and dancers ages 10 and up for the 2018-2019 CCYT COMPETITION TEAM featuring the musical, FINIAN'S RAINBOW.

Caryl Crane Youth Theatre's Competition Team will defend their Outstanding Production title when returning to the Junior Theatre Festival January 18-21, 2019, presenting FINIAN'S RAINBOW. The show will then be presented in its entirety Feb 1-3, 2019, in the McBride Auditorium at BGSU Firelands College.

CCYT will compete with over 125 other youth theatres and school drama teams from around the world in a festival dedicated to showcasing the talents of our best young musical theatre performers.

THE CCYT COMPETITION TEAM will consist of 32 students, ages 10 to 18, that will be chosen from an open audition on Sunday, April 22 at 6 pm.

In mid-December 2018, the competition team will rehearse a 15-minute selection of FINIAN'S RAINBOW to present during the JTF weekend. All actors cast in the competition team must participate in the production of FINIAN's RAINBOW, performing February 1-3, 2019.
