[NEohioPAL] Immediate Casting: 1 FEMALE, any ethnicity for NE Ohio School Tour

Spark Theatre Company, a new theatre for young audiences is seeking a
non-equity professional actress for our upcoming touring production of *NEW
KID* by Dennis Foon.


*Production Dates: May 14th-June 8th, 2018 (MUST have daytime availability,
roughly 8am-4pm)*

*Rehearsal Start Date: April 29th (evenings and weekends) *

Actors will be paid a $500 stipend and college students are also eligible
for Work-Based Learning Credit.

**Please note: this show will be performed within schools and all actors
hired will need to pass a background check & fingerprinting.*


*New Kid *is the story of Nick, a young boy from an imaginary country
called Homeland who moves to the United States with his family. There, he
struggles with his fear of a new culture and language as well as hostile
classmates who taunt him for being different. The spirit of youth prevails
over differences in color and culture, promoting the message that in the
end, kids are all the same.


*MOTHER- (18+ female, any ethnicity)* Nick's Mother. Kind & Warm.
