May*

*Presentation in collaboration with Diamond Regional Institute*

*Opening Night is Friday, May 4, 2018*



Playwright Tracy Letts' 2008 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, *August: Osage
County,* will be the first production of the new LytHouse Theatre company
in Fairport Harbor. The play received the 2008 Tony Award for its Broadway
production, which tells the story of a turbulent Oklahoma family and the
fireworks that happen as its members unexpectedly reunite when the family
patriarch mysteriously disappears.



The production is directed by Joe Fath, Founder of LytHouse LLC. Most
notably, Joe served as Director of Theatre at a local high school for
several years. During that time, he was recognized for several sell-out
performances and was awarded “Best Drama/Comedy” for his production of *Almost,
Maine* by John Cariani.



*August: Osage* *County* is considered appropriate for adults and mature
teenagers. Content warnings include: Adult language and themes, mature
subject matter, and violence. Director Joe Fath welcomes questions prior to

Performances take place at the Diamond Dream Gallery, 225 High Street in
Fairport Harbor, Ohio. Free on-street parking is conveniently located by
the building.



Tickets are $10 each for general seating. Reserve your ticket using one of

                Tickets may be picked up 2 hours before the show; the house

Performance dates are:

                Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 at 7:00 PM

                Sunday, May 6 at 2:00 PM - post-show talkback on mental
health, substance abuse, and hope; Keynote speaker is Annaliese Lessick,
Ph.D. candidate, Kent State U. Counseling Education Services.

                Thursday, May 10 at 7:00 PM – “B.O.G.O” Night, Buy One
ticket and get the second ticket free!

                Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 at 7:00 PM
