The Oberlin College Theater Department invites applications for Visiting Instructors to teach up to three courses in performance during the 2018-19 academic year.
The incumbent will teach in their areas of specialty, which could include, but are not limited to: advanced acting studio in an area of expertise; a technique course based
in voice for the actor, movement, speech and dialects; work with masks; or any other area in which the visiting instructor is accomplished and qualified. Alexander
technique or other performance styles/methods are welcome.
Among the qualifications required for appointment is an MFA in Acting (or equivalent) or an adjacent area of theatrical study. Candidates must demonstrate interest,
experience, and potential excellence in undergraduate teaching, as well as professional theater experience.

Compensation is within the range established for this position, salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
