Description
Primarily responsible for marketing events for the theater and park events.
Description
Work with light designer to realize plot for a theater production.
Examples of Duties
*         Directly responsible to the Theater Production Manager and the Operations Manager; work in conjunction with the Events Production Manager.
*         Assist the General Manager, Operations Manager, and Production Managers with the general opening of the Park.
*         Help with the construction, installation, and maintenance of scaffolding and flattage for the Evans Amphitheater and Alma Theater set-up.
*         Assist with all electrics for Cain Park, with primary emphasis and responsibility for the electrics needs of the Theater production, as well as any events assigned by the Events Production Manager.
*         Supervise and/or assist all electrics load-ins and strikes, with primary responsibility for the Theater productions.  You may also be asked to help tie-in tour busses into the appropriate power supply.
*         Coordinate the safe and correct installation of all lighting equipment throughout the Park, with first priority being the installation of all lighting equipment for the Theater productions.
*         With the Events Electrician, tie in, as needed, any additional dimming or control equipment.
Typical Qualifications

*         High school diploma or equivalent
*         Some college education or related field experience preferred
*         Ability to read a light plot
*         Ability to run light board during show
*         Ability to organize hang and focus with crew
*         Ability to effectively communicate with  lighting designers
