LCCC Hosts Community Foundation Exhibit of Master Printmaker David C. Jansheski

The Community Foundation of Lorain County will host "LUSH," an exhibition and sale of original works by master printmaker David C. Jansheski at the Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery at Lorain County Community College's Stocker Arts Center May 31 through June 20.

Highlights of this show include lush mixed-media prints, relief prints and the signature "Kite" piece. The gallery will also be open the evening of July 11 for the Best of Lorain County event. An artists' reception will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31.

The Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery is open during exhibitions Mondays through Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and by appointment. All exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public. The gallery is also open for many evening and weekend events.

David Jansheski was an internationally recognized professional artist for over 25 years. The former Avon Lake resident died in 2014 after donating his estate, including a collection of his personal works, to the Community Foundation of Lorain County.

Stocker Arts Center is located on the campus of Lorain County Community College at 1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio. The Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery is on the second floor of Stocker Arts Center.
