The Fine Arts Association Announces
The Playroom:  Teen One Act Festival

Willoughby, Ohio - June 2018 -The Fine Arts Association presents the premiere of their teen one act festival-The Playroom.  The festival features original, never-before-produced ten-minute plays written by teens about subjects that impact their lives.

Created and developed by Grace Perry, the festival includes four one act plays written, directed and performed by teens.

Plays being performed are "Wyoming," written by Christian Borkey, about sorority sister relationships not being all they are "cracked up to be."  Borkey also wrote "Best Friends Forever" about the "life and death" battle with very best friends.  Rounding out the festival are "Here Be Dragons, by Rosalie Sajovie about the issues that occur when miscommunications and illusions run wild between friends and "Silence Is Violent," written and directed by Elise Willins concerning the emotions and feelings someone struggling with mental illness has.

Directors and cast members Cameron Zona and Elyse Willins are also joined by cast members Jenna Guinan, Natalie DeSantis, Giavanna Crockett-Tomasio and Lily Olsen.

Performances of The Playroom are June 29 & 30, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. and July 1, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets can be purchased by calling (440) 951-7500.  A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

The festival takes place in room 156 at The Fine Arts Association, 38660 Mentor Avenue, Willoughby, OH   44094.
