Do you need demo reel footage? Are you into suspense horror? Have you wanted to be in a film but have not had the opportunity? If you answered YES to any of these questions then you're perfect for the upcoming short film, WELCOME TO BLOSSOM LANE, a suspense thriller/horror film that will shoot in Lakewood in September 2018.

This short film experience is different in that actors will have the opportunity to appear in the film in as characters that are the images of themselves and as monsters created by special efx artists that have reputable industry credits and will be working in our makeup department. WELCOME TO BLOSSOM LANE is a short film that will be have a professional crew from producing to directing to casting to special effects to make up.

The nitch is that you as an actor get to write some of your own dialogue for your speaking role and you get to be made up in special efx makeup that is equivalent to a Hollywood production. There is a fee of $100 as actors are required to fund their own special efx makeup.

The perks are that actors get footage for their demo reel (in multiple scenes as their normal character and as a monster like creature). You also get to pick what kind of monster you want to be (i.e. vampire, werewolf, gremlins, zombies, mummies, cyclopes, reptiles, etc). NOTE-more excessive special efx will increase fee. You will also receive your own copy of the film.

AUDITIONS FOR ADULTS & KIDS 6-11 will be held Sunday August 5, 2018 from 2pm-6pm at the Lakewood Public Library (15425 Detroit Ave., Lakewood OH). The location is the meeting room on the lower. No appointment necessary. Please write your own short 1 to 2 minute monologue about a pet peeve you have as auditioning material. Kids must be accompanied by parents or authorized adult for audition and on set. There is some mature horror content in this film.

There is an ACTOR FACTORY OHIO course associated with this short film as well for those interested in ongoing acting coaching prior to and during filming.
