·    Prepared 1 minute monologue.

·    Come prepared to cold-read from the script.

·    Please bring a headshot or snapshot.

·    An acting resume is welcomed, but not required.

·    Rehearsal conflicts in writing.

Cast of 10 males and 10 females, ages 18-80+

3 Extra roles for children 10+

ALL roles are available unless otherwise specified.

Performers are considered volunteers receiving a small stipend.

*The Story:*

What is your enemy? DEPRESSION? GRIEF? ADDICTION? LONLINESS? JEALOUSY?
PORNOGRAPHY?

"We Fall Down: The Gospel Experience” is a story that talks about these
issues. Pastor Lee is a young minister that shows up in the lives of Mark
and Natalie Monroe; the parents of Jacob Monroe. The Monroe family is
broken due to Natalie’s depression, and Mark’s lure to the world of
pornography. When Eve Jones comes back in town for a high school reunion,
Jacob Monroe finally gets his chance to get the girl he’s always wanted.
Jacob has no idea how "street-wise" Eve has become. Eve’s childhood friend
Missy is devastated about how far Eve has turned from her childhood
upbringing in the church, but she is determined through prayer to help her
friend. The best friend of Natalie is Jackie Haynes who is refusing to
grieve or acknowledge the tragic auto accident that killed her baby sister
Janet.  When Pastor Lee is called to preach Sunday’s sermon, he realizes he
must deal with his own demons. We all fall down at some point in our lives
and the spiritual battle that goes on to win our souls is real. It is a
story of redemption and strength in knowing you can get back up.
