Western Reserve Playhouse is pleased to announce the inaugural performance
of their new $5 Buck Series, a reading of Willy Russell’s Educating Rita,
on Sunday, August 19th at 2:00 p.m. Educating Rita by Willy Russell, is the
story of Frank (Jim Fippin), a disillusioned poet turned professor of
English literature, who has taken on the task of tutoring non-traditional
students enrolled in open university for their final exams. Enter Rita
(Holly Facer), an abrasively forthright hairdresser who is hungry for
knowledge. An unexpected friendship blossoms, offering surprising rewards
