[NEohioPAL] Arts Radio Network announces new theater podcast

ShakerHeights, OH – Arts Radio Network, parent company of the Arts Radio NetworkTheatre Project and a longtime presence in the South Florida arts community, ispleased to announce the creation of a new podcast.  On theBoards will be dedicated exclusively to the vibrant Northeast Ohio theatercommunity. Hosted by veteran public media host Caroline Breder-Watts, thepodcast will feature interviews and discussions with the movers and shakers oftheater companies throughout the region. In addition, On the Boardswill have two regular features:

·       Timesteps: The Northeast Ohio TheatreOral History Project– modeled after the beloved NPR series StoryCorps,Timesteps are intimate conversationsbetween the leaders of theater companies, initiatives and partnerships thathave been in NE Ohio for more than 10 years. The recordings will be archived at www.artsradionetwork.com and will providea historical record of theater in the region. 

·       Sound and Effect – ARNTP’s Artistic Director JohnWatts will discuss the many facets of radio drama and overall theatrical sound designand speak with experts in the field.

Recordingswill take place at Arts Radio Network’s studio in Shaker Heights, and the firstpodcast is scheduled to drop on 10/1/18.
