Mighty Goliath Productions will celebrate its 60th anniversary with Ian
Fleming's musical spectacle, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. Directed by Douglas
F. Bailey II with Choreography by Nicci Cassara Billington; this year's
production promises to be a wonderful time for people are all ages!

Take a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies
through the air and sails the seas. Based on the beloved 1968 film version
of Ian Fleming's children's book, and featuring an unforgettable score by
the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is one
family-friendly blockbuster that audiences will find "Truly Scrumptious."

WHAT: Auditions for CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG

WHERE: Learwood Middle School Choir Room
340 Lear Road
Avon Lake, OH 44012

WHEN: September 10th and 12th from 7-10 PM. No Appointments necessary.
Auditions will be seen on a first come first seen basis. Please allow time
to find the venue and complete paperwork. Please notify the production team
if you are planning to arrive later in the evening. You will be released
after your audition. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND AUDITIONS YOU MAY SUBMIT A
VIDEO AUDITION BY 12PM SEPTEMBER 12TH TO THE DIRECTOR's EMAIL BELOW.

WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare one 16-32 bar cut of a musical theatre song
in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music in your desired key. An
accompanist will be provided.

PRODUCTION DATES: Six Shows, February 15th-23rd with a two show day on
February 23rd.

ABOUT MGP AND REHEARSALS: Mighty Goliath Productions has a place for anyone
who wants to participate in the show! If you'd like to join our ensemble
you simply need to attend our first rehearsal! For the past sixty years MGP
has donated the proceeds of it's annual production to the performing arts
groups of Avon Lake, and has raised over $250,000 for it's cause. Please
join us in continuing our mission during a very special anniversary. MGP
rehearses the ensemble only once per week on Friday evenings until tech
week in February. Principles may be asked to rehearse an additional day
each week.

It is the director's goal to engage a large and diverse cast in this family
friendly classic. All races, creeds, gender identities, sexual
orientations, ages, and body types are encouraged to audition and will be
considered for all roles when casting.
