[NEohioPAL] Kent State Seeks Young Actors For Children of Eden

Kent State University's School of Theatre and Dance seeks young actors  for the roles of Young Cain and Abel in the musical, Children of Eden, directed by Terri Kent.


The actors should appear to be around 8-10 years old, and can be boys or girls of any race/ethnicity.

For the audition: Please be prepared to sing a short song.  Bring sheet music, if available.  Twinkle Twinkle little star is acceptable.  Actors  may be asked to read a short scene.


Young Actors  will also play animals in the Naming, as well as be in the finale of Act I.  They will also appear in Act II for the return of the animal and then curtain call.

Rehearsals begin week of  Sept 24.  Rehearsals  are  scheduled M-F from 6pm -10pm  and on Sundays from 2pm-6pm.  Performances run  Friday,  Nov. 2- Sunday, Nov 11.   There are no  performances scheduled  for  Nov. 5 and 6. Young Actors would  not be called for  extensive technical rehearsals.

Auditions will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 5:30pm - 6:00pm in the Erdmann-Zucchero Black Box Theatre located in the Center for the Performing Arts on the Kent Campus of Kent State University, 1325 Theatre Drive, Kent, OH.
